I wouldve rather seen only Ralph been saved and Jack left on the island. I think Ralph cried at the end because he was scared and also finally being rescued. I would recommend this to some friends because it was interesting.

1) They decide they must go and try and talk to jack to get Piggy's glasses back.

3) Its was bound to fail because Jack is already to far gone. He no longer cares about what civilization and what other boys have to say to him.

4) I think Rodger pushes the rock off the cliff to scare the boys and for them to run and leave I don't think he intended to kill Piggy.

5) The destruction is symbolic because that scene officially shows the true breaking of government and civilization. Its significant also because when it breaks Jack sees it as giving him more power so now Ralph has no way to try and say hes still in charge and he wont be able to blow it anymore.

6) Most of the boys want a chief because the chef will have to try and figure everything out and will have to try and provide shelter and food and so the boys can look up to someone.

7) -Think about your parents why would you be doing such things? Do you think your family would even know who you were if they seen you.
    - Do you not realize that your a little boy chief or not you will have no significant meaning to anybody? You will never be remembered! If we are never saved everyone is going to die on this island until your the last one left alone !

8) The island is different especially from the way the boys are acting. The fire is gone and wont be started again unless we have Piggy's glasses but Jack refuses to give them back. Jacks crew is building a fort and the boys are very different and are difficult to get along with. Jack has become an insane dictator slash hunter. He is upsessed with killing living things whether its an animal or human.
Jack is having boys tied up and beaten just because he wants to he no longer has feelings for these boys. Its only a matter of time before he cannot find anymore pigs and kills everyone on the island. If it were me in his crew id pretend to be his friend and then turn on him when he least expected it because he deserves to be treated the way hes beaten the other boys. Its sad to think how everyone is changing.

Chapter 10 common core questions

1) Ralph said, " it was murder " as he thinks back realizing what they have done (Golding 156). While being in denial piggy tries to convince Ralph and himself what everyone did was right by saying, " It was an accident" (Golding 157). Samneric were claiming not being there by saying, " Yes we were very tired so we left early" (Golding 158).

2) Ralph keeps on saying that they murdered Simon feeling guilt for what the boys did (Golding 156). While on the other hand Jack just says that they killed the beast feeling no remorse (Golding 160).

3) I can conclude that Jack has become very uncivilized and savage like. Now he is more of a commander and dictator instead of a positive leader. I say this because he does order to have Wilfred beaten and when they killed Simon instead of saying they did kill him he tells them they killed the beast.
4) Jack is the chief because he is the head of the savages and he hunts for food and the boys listen to him.
Piggy: Ralph where are you?
Ralph: Whats happening?
Jack: Eric come back!
Sam: Stop it?
Eric: Where are the glasses?
Roger: I dont know?

Opinion editorial

I don't know why people are so crazy over abortion. They act like you actually killing somthing. I'm going to start out by saying that guys ejaculate and release sleek cells all the time is that murder too? Because that's what you are pretty much calling abortion. A sperm cell is not considered a living thing until the 2nd term of a pregnancy about 3 and half months. That is when something living is formed and after the 2nd term has been reached abortion IS ILLEGAL!

Doctors know what most ignorant people do not. I know you have your religions and you say it's murder but when science proves you wrong why do you still argue ? When you become pregnant and the sperm cell reaches the woman's sack where the babey is created it sits there just as a little cell a non human mamal or any type of living thing of that nature. It is a live but like how a tree or plant is its just a cell.

After the second term is finally reached that is when the cell morphs into a somthing of human nature. People like to talk and just say its murder because they feel bad or they don't wanna be looked down on but it isn't murder. It's never had a life of it's own it isn't truley living until the babey has been born. I hope more people will stop being ignorant on a topic they are not knowledgable on and is informed stop scaring people into have a child.

Literature Analysis Responce

Part One:
The plot of my novel takes place during a war and in a prison called slaughter house five. Its about a man who lives his life in this prison during a war in Eastern Germany where he survived this bombing of World War II. The ending is Billy and the rest of his group was locked up and one morning Billy woke up and it was unlocked. Billy went out to wonder and the war was over there was no one, no cars, no people or anything just one abandoned wagon.

Part Two:
I think the main theme of this novel is War. This novel shows us how bad war can be. It focuses in on a couple of people and how bombing of the wars and just wars in general effects the lives of people personally.

Part Three:
I think the protagonist is a flat character because even though he does change a little through out the book he never really shows a happy side. He never changes from the way he is to a different way. Another major character in this book would be Billy because his pligrims get bombed.

Part Four:
I think a significant saying out of the book would be in the ending when it says, " World War II In Europe was over." I think I think this is not only significant to just one character or just one theme of the novel but to all of them. The characters in this novel haven't felt what it was like to be free from the war. So when this quote is said in the book it signify's a great change that is soon to come and all the other characters can live freely from this war which will drastically change their lives.

Part Five:
I chose this book for two reasons. One because it has a war like setting and I like that type of stuff in books and two, Im not going to lie, is because it was a smaller book and I have a hard time with reading. What appealed to me was the war like setting like i stated earlier. I just like knowing what happened back then and how the wars were. It came to my attention from Mr. Ostini because he said its a good book and itll fit me better instead of a bigger book. Like i said before what about the book that made me want to keep reading it was it giving me a general idea of how life was back then for certain people.

Part Six:
In the book Billy was locked up like i said before and then he woke up and the door was unlocked and he was free. I can connect this to my life because in this situation Billy is prevented from doing anything and some how he is free in my life this relates to me in many ways. For one, one time i got grounded and my said that i have to stay in my room all night but then after my nap i woke up and she said its fine that i dont have to stay in their anymore. Even though this is like nothing compared to Billy being locked up in prison but it shows me how it might have been for him.

Part Seven:
One Idea that i am going to take away from thier book it dont complain about what you dont have and be happy with what you do have. I say this because this book along with many other books like this has taught me that their are people in this world who has either had it worse than me. These people in this novel have been bombed, imprisoned, and sent to war while i have just been getting to much homework. This novel has taught me not to complain because i could have it worse.
